About Us

Please enjoy this member-made tribute to just some of the women that have made a difference and continue to be an inspiration to our organization.

THE DEMOCRATIC WOMEN'S CLUB OF ST. LUCIE COUNTY
are engaged and progressive citizens promoting Democratic values as the women's caucus of the Florida Democratic Party. Over the years, women have participated in the Suffragette, Civil Rights and Women's March movements and played a vital role in pursuing democracy. We are inspired by the women who have led the way on issues such as voting, civil rights, equal pay and health care. We are motivated by the female advocates who are fighting to expand democracy in their own states and throughout the world. We are encouraged by the many young women preparing to carry the torch forward.

The example and achievements of women leaders will continue to play a key role in shaping the course of democracy. Our club is focused on the well-being of working families in our community. Our club supports local youth activities, educational programs, and scholarships. We are also involved in environmental actions supporting our fragile, estuarine ecosystem and public lands. We continue to fight for better jobs and a living wage. We provide outreach to immigrant groups and returning citizens.

Please join us in making a difference. St. Lucie County was at its best when it was blue. Let's do it again in 2024!

Objectives
